Help Often

What does “Help Often” mean?

Part of what makes Sunday Assembly great is it’s drive and desire to put community service as a priority. Sunday Assembly Olympia believes we can be a strong and spirited force for change. Every month we work together on a “Help Often” project. Whether it’s volunteering time at a local charity or event on a single day or collecting donations for a month-long supply drive to help those in need, we are a force to be reckoned with. We think our community is amazing and it’s amazing because of all the people in it and how we work together for the common good.

Local Organizations we have helped include:

Sunday Assembly is a community of action, building lives of purpose. Encouraging all to help anyone who needs it and to support each other.

Current Help Often Project

Yard Projects for 96-year-old Ken.

Come spend a few hours helping Laurie’s 96 year old neighbor, Ken with a few yard projects.  We’ll have a thatcher rented from from Home Depot.  Other projects include repairing a small lean-to shed and re-placing brick edging.  Ken has a few tools, but please bring what you think we might need. And we’ll be done before Seahawks kickoff 🙂
